My dear friends in the Holy Land,
The sentence I miss the most this evening is:
""Good evening Jerusalem!""

For the past decade, a date has appeared in my diary on this very evening and at this very hour, which is like a holiday for me.

Even though it comes back every year, I get excited about it every time, just like it was the first time.

Excited to meet you all, excited to play you the new songs and arrangements for the first time, excited about the new meeting with the guest, a senior Israeli singer, who will sing by my side and in a moment will become my new friend,

Excited about the Sultan!

A few months ago, when the world began to change, the skies closed to flights and concert halls closed, I told my musical director, Yuval Stoppel, that "we must see the good in everything and that this year you can work on the program for Sultan in peace," and indeed, we booked a particularly surprising guest and began working on the program. And what a program we prepared for you...

But God has other plans, and we, as believers, know that every setback is for the better. We will continue to pray and hope that soon, God willing, we will meet again.

I'm sitting in my house in New York, thinking and missing you, missing my musicians and crew in the Holy Land and my friends from 'Besheva', my partners in the show at the Sultan.

So even when unfortunately we can't meet, I feel a "connection of souls, a true bond" and say over and over again to myself: "How good it is that we met" and God willing we will meet again soon. In the meantime, I thought I would send you a gift in honor of Tu B'Av.

So to you, my friends in the Holy Land, I send "Little Gifts," performed jointly with my beloved singer friend, Rami Kleinstein, and accompanied by the Israel Symphony Orchestra in Rishon LeZion.

Enjoy!

Abraham
