Thanks to good citizenship: Police arrested a suspect in the act of breaking into vehicles, and the Israel Police Prosecution Division filed an indictment against him and a request for his detention until the end of the proceedings.

In the end, you'll regret being a sucker: Maybe you deserve a lot of money from National Insurance.

The investigation began two weeks ago, with the receipt of a report from a citizen who claimed to have noticed a man walking through the Beit Rambam parking lot, next to the Big Fashion mall in Tiberias, between vehicles and checking to see if the doors were open.

Upon receiving the report, police were dispatched to the scene of the incident. When they arrived, they noticed the defendant getting out of a Volvo vehicle that he did not own.

The police approached the defendant and asked him to explain his actions.

The defendant was arrested, brought to the police station for questioning, and his detention was extended from time to time by the court, at the request of the police - until the indictment was filed against him.

The investigation revealed that on the day of the incident, the defendant arrived at the parking lot of the 'Big Fashion' mall in Tiberias and tried to open the doors of two vehicles, but since they were locked, he left the place and went to a nearby parking lot - 'Beit Rambam', where he used the same method, trying to open the doors of vehicles.

In addition to the Volvo he was seen leaving by the police, he also entered a Skoda, rummaged through documents and scattered them on the floor of the vehicle.

The investigation also revealed that the defendant acted in the same way on two additional occasions, several days before his arrest in the city of Beit Shean, where he even took a bag that was left in the car and used the credit card and withdrew cash from the ATM.

At the end of a swift investigation, after collecting findings, collecting evidence, and downloading the security cameras, the investigation material was transferred to the Israel Police Prosecution Division, which filed an indictment with the Tiberias Magistrate's Court and a request for detention until the end of the proceedings for the offenses of car break-in, theft, and credit card fraud.
