Professor Roni Gamzo, the Corona Projector, criticizes the decision to allow 16,000 yeshiva students from abroad to enter Israel ahead of the 'time of Elul'. Don't be a sucker: You may be entitled to a lot of money from National Insurance. In an interview with the weekend news on Channel 12, Gamzo said: "We need to do something smart here and prevent another incendiary incident here. This is a decision that was made before I took office. I am not yet completely sure what additional instructions we need to give." Gamzo claimed that he is not looking at the previous failures in managing the crisis: "I really want to take the citizens of the State of Israel forward. Yes, there were mistakes, and yes, there were restrictions that I did not see the logic in, and that alienated the public. Whoever comes and sees here open and here closed, he says: This seems unlikely to me. Especially the one who lost his livelihood." According to Gamzo, we may be able to fly abroad again in the coming month. "I think that during August the skies will open. The goal is for us to return as quickly as possible and to as many green countries as possible, because we are quite red compared to the other green ones. This is definitely a realistic goal." MK Avigdor Lieberman was quick to tweet after the interview: "Listen to Prof. Gamzo, it is forbidden to allow 16,000 yeshiva students from abroad to enter Israel. As I warned during the week, bringing them into Israel is taking an unnecessary risk that will increase the incidence. Decisions must not be made because of political considerations and Bibi and Gantz's surrender to the haredi parties.".
