MK Ayelet Shaked mentioned on her Twitter account this evening (Saturday) that the bill that enshrines the override clause will be introduced this week. Don't be a sucker: You may be entitled to a lot of money from National Insurance. ""A special opportunity will arise this week for MKs from the right-wing bloc - an opportunity to stop whining, an opportunity to stop judicial piracy," said MK Yamina. "This coming Wednesday, the bill I submitted that enshrines the override clause and regulates the relationship between the authorities will be put to a vote. Will they come to vote or continue to whine?" On Friday, the Minister of Justice and the Chairman of the Ministerial Committee for Legislative Affairs, MK Avi Nissenkorn, and his deputy, the Minister of National Digital Affairs, MK Dodi Amsalem, jointly decided not to advance legislation at this stage that does not concern dealing with the coronavirus. The discussion of bills that do not concern the coronavirus will be postponed until next week. The move is apparently intended to block Shaked's override clause bill, which was supposed to be introduced tomorrow and embarrass the coalition. Shaked's entourage says: "The law will be put to a vote on Wednesday. This is the first time in the Knesset that there are 61 members of parliament who support the override clause. We hope that the Likud will not hide behind Nissenkorn.".
