Interior Minister Aryeh Deri and Health Minister Yuli Edelstein announced today (Wednesday) that they will approve the entry of yeshiva graduates from abroad who will begin their studies in the upcoming academic year - 2011.
After professional discussions held between the professional bodies at the Population and Immigration Authority, the Ministry of Health, and the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, it was determined that the entry of yeshiva graduates from abroad will be approved for group isolation of up to six students in the compound - and subject to compliance with the isolation requirements, as determined by the Ministry of Health.

The approval applies to yeshiva students, Masa students, Ulpana students, seminary students, Nael'ah students, high school students, and preparatory school students.
A letter on the subject will be sent to all relevant parties with instructions on how to proceed.
The decision also states that, in accordance with the Ministry of Health guidelines, full responsibility for adhering to the isolation guidelines lies with the head of the educational institution. This decision is added to a list of decisions aimed at easing the policy of entry into Israel during this period, the main points of which are published on the Population and Immigration Authority website.

""It is important for us to act with great caution to prevent the spread of the virus, alongside a desire to enable normal life.".
