Watch: What happened when a lioness killed the mother and adopted the cub

Here they noticed that a son was lying on the body of the baboon that had been killed. They held their breath as the little baboon ran for its life. The cub was terrified of whoever had devoured its mother just moments ago. So they were surprised to see that the lioness showed mercy and affection towards the cub. She quietly picked it up in her mouth and sat on it, watching. The baboon tried to sniff the lioness, but didn't understand who she was. Then, at a turn, the puppy began to play with its adopter. A pride of lions approached and the lioness had to drive them away for fear that they would harm the cub. This was the moment the baby baboon's father had been waiting for in the nearby tree. He leapt at the cub. He kidnapped his son and fled to the height of the tribe.
