Rabbi Moshe Yosef Oberlander, z"l, a leader of Belz Hasidism, passed away tonight (Saturday night) at the Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital in Jerusalem, at the age of 60.

How did he manage to get a prestigious degree without preparatory school or prerequisites? The secret is inside

The late Rabbi was born in 1952 in the United States, to his father, the late Rabbi Shalom Oberlander.

In his youth he studied at the Belza Yeshiva and when he reached his maturity he established his home with the daughter of the late Rabbi Nathan Klein.

In his youth, he worked as a teacher at the Talmud Torah in Jerusalem, teaching students.

He later served as the CEO of the Badach's "Holders of Religion" kashrut system and later as the CEO of the "Belza Institutions Center" in the Holy Land.

In recent years, he served as chairman of 'Tikva and Marpa'.

This is not the first tragedy in his family: 30 years ago, on Av 5750, his brother-in-law, the late Rabbi Zvi Aharon Klein, was killed in a car accident at the Motza Interchange.

He is survived by his wife, son, daughters, and descendants.

His funeral procession will leave today from Kiryat Belza in Jerusalem for Mount Hamunehot, where he will be buried.
