Gilat Bennett, the wife of Yamina Chairman Naftali Bennett, attacked Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Facebook this evening (Monday).
Bennett was referring to a post written by strategist Assaf Passy - who called for appointing her husband as the coordinator of the fight against the coronavirus.
""Put them on the right and left. The one who needs to manage now is Naftali Bennett," Passy wrote. "In coordination with the various parties, he is the one who needs to manage the event. He is diligent, precise and aware of what is happening on the ground.".

He added: "This is the only thing he can focus on in the coming months. He has no office or portfolio. Just keeping us safe from the coronavirus. Let Bennett defeat the coronavirus.".
Gilat Bennett responded to the comments - writing: "It's amazing that the fact that Bibi, despite his resounding failure, doesn't bring this to his mind proves how uninteresting this country is to him. For his part, we'll go through an economic holocaust, only they won't love anyone more than him.".
Likud responded to the attack: "While Prime Minister Netanyahu is working around the clock to save the lives and livelihoods of Israeli citizens, we will not accept moral sermons from those who preferred to remain in opposition instead of bearing responsibility and working for the citizens of Israel, and when they were in the coalition they were busy leaking nonstop from within the cabinet.".
