Another question in the survey was: What does the public think of the Trump plan, according to which Israel would apply sovereignty over 30% of Judea and Samaria and agree to negotiate the establishment of a Palestinian state?
46% of the respondents said they oppose such an outline and another 25% answered that they are very opposed, 21% somewhat opposed. 34% replied that they generally support such an outline, 25% somewhat support and 9% replied that they strongly support such a move.
An interesting statistic can be found among those who define themselves as right-wing voters:
While 41% responded that they overall support the plan, a fairly similar number of respondents oppose it - 39% in total oppose it.
Among center-left voters, 56% in total oppose and 24% in total support.
And what is the most important mission of the new government?
An absolute majority of respondents agreed that combating the economic crisis is the goal of utmost importance – 691% of the total sample, 681% of right-wing voters, and 771% of center-left voters.
The war on Corona is only in second place in terms of respondents' priorities, and by a significant margin: 14-15% believe that the war on Corona is the most important goal, a few percent of respondents believe that the issue of annexation and the struggle against Iran are the most important.
The survey was conducted by the Midgam Institute, headed by Mano Geva, among a representative sample of the entire population in Israel aged 18 and over, among 509 respondents. Sampling error 4.4%-+
