An innovative system for destroying coronaviruses in buildings and surfaces has been installed in the Rishon LeZion Hesder Yeshiva.
This is a new system, consisting of several products based on ultraviolet light with a unique wavelength, which has been found to be lethal to the coronavirus, is not carcinogenic, and is safe for use near humans, including pulmonary patients.
The system is the product of development and research by businessman Eldad Perry, owner of Eldad Perry Holdings, who has previously promoted several medical startups, a team of physicists, and a medical team led by Dr. Boris Orkin, director of the pediatric surgery unit at Hadassah Ein Kerem Hospital, who conducted independent research on the subject.
The system eliminates the coronavirus in a room in up to half an hour and without causing harm to humans.
Dr. Orkin: ""Light bulbs" UV They have been used for years to purify and disinfect operating rooms in hospitals in Israel and around the world, but in 2009, US health authorities issued a warning that some of the bulbs produce an ozone molecule that may be very dangerous, especially for pulmonary patients. For this reason, they have not been used to combat the coronavirus, for fear that they would endanger patients.
""In addition, uncontrolled and direct use of regular ultraviolet lamps for disinfection produces radiation that is dangerous to the skin and eyes. Therefore, the World Health Organization recently issued a recommendation not to use ultraviolet light for hand disinfection. However, in a study I conducted, I found that there are ultraviolet lamps, with a unique light wave that does not produce ozone, but are very effective in disinfecting buildings and rooms and are therefore particularly suitable for treating the virus.
""Those specific bulbs do not produce radiation that is dangerous to the skin and eyes. Using a physical algorithm, it is possible to install a system of bulbs and products with different wavelengths and powers that are adapted to the size of the room or building. Such a system can eliminate the coronavirus for up to half an hour without any danger to humans.".
Businessman Eldad Perry located a few manufacturers in the world that produce the rare bulbs with the unique light wave, and recruited a team of physicists and medical experts to develop and install the "Ultraviolet Israel" system.
It is important to note that this is not an off-the-shelf product that can be purchased in stores or online, but rather a "tailor-made" system based on a physical algorithm that adapts the system of bulbs and products to the structure and calculates the type of bulb, its wavelength, its power, as well as the optimal location to obtain maximum efficiency.
Eldad Perry Holdings offers services for preparing a plan and installing "ultraviolet" in hospitals, factories, offices, shopping malls, and other institutions that are interested in permanent purification, and also offers one-time purification services using mobile bulbs and professionals who will come to any building that needs purification. The one-time service is suitable, for example, for apartments or businesses that have been visited by Corona patients.
