The police have been conducting an investigation in recent hours to understand why people who were not supposed to enter the Rashbi festival in Meron entered, including singer Omer Adam and tycoon Avishai Neriah, who is close to him, while tens of thousands of people were denied entry, including Jerusalem elders who have immigrated since childhood, rebbes, parents of 'halaka' children, and hundreds of Hasidim who sought to immigrate to Zion were turned back and fined.
Minister Aryeh Deri issued a statement this afternoon (Tuesday), stating:

Minister Deri expresses regret that people not connected to the event were allowed into Meron, while the general public was denied entry.
It should be noted that Minister Deri issued a statement yesterday that he would not attend the celebrations in Meron due to the instructions of the Ministry of Health, and even asked all Shas MKs not to attend Meron and to obey the instructions of the Ministry of Health.

Due to changes in the program, the singer's performance was canceled, and accordingly, the production sent the Israel Police an updated list, omitting the name of the singer and his companions.
The police officer, licensing coordinator at the North Institute, confirmed on Sunday this week at 7:41 PM, the receipt of the updated list as mentioned without the singer and his entourage. (The screenshot of the confirmation of the limited list was found at the production company and was presented as evidence).
"Probably due to confusion in the police, permission was granted to let people in Miron who were on the outdated list. As mentioned, the singer's arrival was not arranged by the production company.".
However, the event's host, broadcaster Menachem Toker, gave a different version: "A storm in a teacup. I hosted the event and a week ago I was informed that Omar Adam would perform the acceptance of the yoke of the Kingdom of Heaven. Only because of the unexpected delay in the lighting, the entire line-up was late and Omar (and another artist) did not make it to the broadcast and the loss was all ours.".
An eyewitness told Haredim 10: "I was there when he arrived. I saw him begging the police to get in. Of course, after 10 minutes of him begging and smiling, the policeman told him to get a few people out of the car and that he would drive and then get in.".
