Go on vacation but don't go unnoticed.

Next week we will go into the days between times: It is reasonable to assume that in those days the sky will still thunder with missiles, that our brothers of the House of Israel will still be in trouble and in a place of danger. We have a duty to remember this: to sanctify the name of heaven and not, God forbid, the other way around.

In a war between countries, there is no ability to wage a battle without having a diplomatic campaign on its side. The strength of the battle depends to a large extent on the home front, and this tends to side with public opinion data fed by many sources. In contrast, primitive countries have the ability to steer public opinion as they wish.

The State of Israel is currently in a battle. The physical war is felt in some cities in the home front, and it is felt by too many bereaved families.

However, unlike a war between states, which is usually based on territory or ego and adheres to minimal international rules, a war between a state and a terrorist organization is completely different: the organization is not bound by international laws but fiercely demands them.

The Israeli home front, which feels that there are no real tools for resolving security difficulties with Hamas, is incapable of accepting a solution that is largely diplomatic. It must feel that diplomacy only begins from the point of military decisiveness.

Between the times for Elul

We, the ultra-Orthodox community, cannot ignore the battlefield either. Our neighbors are fighting in Gaza, the red-colored whistles pass by our homes, and often missiles or missile fragments fall on the homes of our brothers.

The sense of Israeli responsibility has always come from the mouths of the great men of our generation. A responsibility in which we are obligated to do our part in prayer and in multiplying rights.

Next week, "Wednesday," the world of yeshiva and the Abrahimi seminaries will go on vacation. It is reasonable to assume that just as the Zionist legislature went on vacation because it needed it less and did not sleep, so too will the yeshiva students and Abrahimi kollel who work hard in Torah go on vacation, days to get out of the routine, to plan for the next time, without change. (Even if they cancel their own vacation, we will probably not cancel it) unless the greats and luminaries of the generation instruct us otherwise.

We need to take full advantage of these days to exchange strength, to change the atmosphere, to do whatever will bring us back to our normal place on the first of Elul in the best possible way.

It is reasonable to assume that in these days the sky will still thunder with missiles, that our brothers in the House of Israel will still be in trouble and in a place of danger.

We have a duty to remember this. To remember them and do everything to sanctify the name of Heaven and not the other way around, God forbid. To go on vacation but not to poke eyes. To go on a trip, but to maintain responsibility - more than ever. Not only because 'and you were saved' but also because other people went to war and we must not irritate the eyes of Satan and profane the name of Heaven.

We do have the opportunity to maintain our routine and what is good for us at all costs. However, if we do it right, we will sanctify the name of Heaven.
