Rabbi Reuven Webshet, the Chief Rabbi of Ethiopian Jewry, arrived today (Thursday) at the home of Hacham Ben Zion Michaelshvili zt"l in Kfar Chabad, who passed away last Monday - before his death from a serious illness.
During the visit, Rabbi Veshes presented his latest book to Sage Michaelshvili.
Rabbi Wabshes studied as a child with Hacham Ben Zion in the Talmud Torah he founded in Ramla - and received from him the solid foundations for devotion to the observance of Torah and mitzvot.

Today (Thursday), Rabbi Veshes arrived to comfort mourners at the home of Chacham Michaelshvily, zt"l, in Kfar Chabad.
During the visit and consolation with the Rebbetzin and descendants of Chacham Ben Zion, Rabbi Wabshes spoke about Chacham Ben Zion's warm attitude in the Talmud Torah and also about the visits to the kollel he established in Lod and at his home in Kfar Chabad.
During the condolence meeting, other Chabad followers who were present were happy to meet their childhood friend in Ramla and shared memories of their studies with him.
