The most viewed entries on Wikipedia Israel in 2019: Who reached the top?

Three days to the end of 2019: Wikipedia Israel published today (Sunday) the list of the most viewed entries this year.

Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu came in first place, up from fifth place last year, with 733,506 views.

The entry "Israel" came in second place with 578,362 views, after being in first place last year.

The year 2019 was characterized mainly by elections, and this was also reflected in Wikipedia's viewing rankings: the entry "Elections for the Twenty-First Knesset" held in April 2019 reached third place. Benny Gantz reached 13th place, and the "Elections for the Twenty-Second Knesset" held in September 2019 reached 16th place.

The Eurovision Song Contest, broadcast this year from Israel, aroused great interest among the public, and the entry "Eurovision 2019" came in fourth place on the list.

Inspired by the television show 'Chernobyl', the entry "Chernobyl Disaster" came in fifth place.

Inspired by the feature-length television series 'Eli', the entry "Eli Cohen" came in sixth place.
