Hamas brags: We developed the drones ourselves and filmed the camp

What damage did the Hamas drone manage to do in Israel? As reported by Haredim10 this morning (Monday), an unmanned aerial vehicle, which took off from the Gaza Strip, entered Israeli airspace.

Hamas's Al-Aqsa Channel broadcast footage this afternoon of the unmanned aerial vehicle, which it claims has penetrated Israeli airspace several times and even reached Tel Aviv.

Hamas is also showing, as part of its psychological warfare, images of aircraft it claims have infiltrated Israel. The organization posted a video on YouTube showing a small, unmanned aircraft flying over a coastal city, but its reliability is currently unclear.

According to the organization, the plane managed to photograph the "Kriya" in Tel Aviv. "Our planes carried out a special mission over the Zionist Ministry of Defense," they said.

""Our planes carried out three sorties this morning, in which more than one plane participated," the organization said in a statement. "Each sortie had a different mission. The success of our planes in carrying out their missions brings us victory despite Israel's air cover and advanced interception systems." The statement also noted: "Contact with one of the planes was lost on the second sortie and with another plane on the third sortie. This is not the first time our planes have carried out missions deep inside the (Zionist) entity," they added.

The Al-Aqsa Network's Twitter account stated that the drone is capable of carrying "small missiles.".

A drone from Gaza penetrated into Israel

This morning, as mentioned, an unmanned aerial vehicle, which took off from the Gaza Strip, entered Israeli airspace. The drone was intercepted over the coast of Ashdod and was carried out using a Patriot missile. Navy forces were deployed to conduct searches and find the remains of the drone. The interception led to the activation of the alarm that sounded this morning in the city of Ashdod.

The IDF is currently conducting an investigation and examining how such a large object managed to penetrate Israeli airspace, and why it took so long for it to be spotted and intercepted.

An IDF spokesman said, "An unmanned aerial vehicle that was detected intruding into Israeli territory this morning was shot down by the Air Force. The aircraft was shot down by a Patriot surface-to-air missile in an open area in the Ashdod coastline area. IDF forces are currently scanning the area. The detection, identification and shooting down were carried out professionally and properly, and the Air Force accomplished its mission.".
