This is undoubtedly one of the most exciting and surprising songs, and perhaps the highlight of the new album 'Open and Known', which was launched recently.

''Shabe's Bay Nacht' (Sabbath Night) was rescued by Rabbi Mordechai from the worlds of mundaneness and transformed into a song of endless longings and yearnings for a living God, from the depths of the heart of a Hasid who finds himself melting in the love of God in the sublime hours of the holy Sabbath night.

Free translation of the Yiddish text: "Saturday night, I was lost in thought, and I miss you... Oh, I miss you so much... Saturday night, I was lost in thought, and I miss home, back to you...""

The continuation is from the famous melody "May your fear bring comfort to the people who seek your will," in the sublime words of Rabbi Aharon the Great of Karlin, zt"l.

The high-quality album contains 11 songs that penetrate the depths of the soul and heart, in authentic arrangements well produced by Zeevi Fried.

The album featured a number of musicians including Yehuda Galili, Yoeli Diekman, Eli Laufer, Moishe Roth, Itzi Beri and Eli Klein, Benny Laufer, the 'Shira' choir, Rabbi Hershel Brisk, the 'Yiddish Nachat' children's choir, and violinist Rabbi Gadi Pogatsch.

The new album is available in select music stores.
