Jewish America experienced one of the prestigious Husk performances last night (Sunday) - and as always, this time too, the Lincoln Center hall was filled to capacity, with the audience standing on its feet saluting and moved by the enormous charity that helps brain-damaged children - and the line of musicians who came especially to salute him.

In the early years, the event was produced by the first Hasidic producers - Sheya Mendelovich, and the duo Suki and Ding, but in recent years the event has been run under the direction of the energetic Eli Gerstner.

This year, together with Eli Dolinsky, they put together an impressive production, while managing to keep almost the entire lineup, including the list of participants, confidential.

The duo paid a special tribute to the composer Yishai Lapidot, who is celebrating 20 years of creativity, which began in the joyful days of 'Cassidish', continued with the founding of the 'Of Shimchas' band, through 'Kinderlach' and the 'Jewish Poetry Council' - and to this day, when Lapidot appears all over the world.

The event was conducted by Maestro Yoeli Diekman, who worked for several months on countless rich arrangements and orchestrations, with Rafi Grady's band accompanying Yaakov Shweki.

After the grandiose opening played by Dickman, Zusha and the Pompadita band came on stage, and together with DJ Matt Dub they sang the hit "Baruch Hashem.".

Shlomo Simcha came straight from Canada and, together with the exciting Ivy Rotenberg, performed a string of "Fire" hits.

Rising star Mordechai Shapira, who is predicted to achieve greatness in the field of Hasidic singing, performed several songs, followed by Barry Weber singing "Lord of the Worlds" and "Earth and Heaven" by Matt Dove.

The "Or Hadash" band performed a string of their songs, after which Eli Gerstner came up in his musical hat as a singer and performed a new song written especially for the event.

The Husk shows have always included a tribute to creators and artists. This time, Yishai Lapidot was chosen, who performed some of his hits with Mordechai Shapira.

Yaakov Shweky, who was the main artist, also brought Yishai Lapidot to a duet, after which Shweky performed the Gorynys chorale with Ivy Rotenberg.
