About two years ago, Elimelech Cohen suddenly lost his righteous mother, Mrs. Sarah, daughter of Zina, on the 13th of Cheshvan, 5777.

On the two-year anniversary of her passing, artist and educator Elimelech Cohen chose to share his heartfelt experiences about the loss, the difficulty, and the longing for his mother, while at the same time internalizing that we must not let pain take over our lives, but rather to rise up and continue the tradition that she passed on out of joy.

""My mother, may God bless her soul, was a modest and kind-hearted righteous woman," he says. "How much she helped and strengthened the daughters of Israel, and it is not something that can be explained. We created this song out of gratitude. In general, it happens that we take a lot of things in life for granted, which actually shouldn't happen, so it is important to stop the race of life from time to time and simply give thanks.""
