In preparation for the High Holy Days, artist and composer Amiran Dvir presents a new single with an important message about preserving the language.

The well-known verse from the Psalms, "Who is the man who desires life, who loves days to see good? Keep your tongue from evil and your lips from speaking deceit?" takes on a strong and moving meaning thanks to the moving melody composed by Amiran.

Amiran has previously collaborated across sectors with the best Israeli singing artists: David D'Or, Yermi Kaplan, Arik Sinai, Gilad Segev, Shimi Tavori, and more.

And now he chose actor Uri Leyzerowitz, from the series Shabavanikim, for the duet.

This is the second collaboration between Amiran and Uri. The previous one was the single "There's No One Like Gedaliah" - a song the two recorded following Uri's special character (Gedaliah) in the series "Shababnikim", and Amiran even hosted Uri for a special performance at Zappa, where the two performed "Nezur L'Shunach" for the first time.

Amiran: "The song comes out at a very interesting time. Today, the 24th of Elul, marks the passing of the Chofetz Chaim, zt"l, who took the issue of slander as a life mission, and even published an important and meaningful book of laws on the subject. And another very interesting time: in the weekly torah portion that we read on Shabbat, the verse "Cursed is he who strikes his neighbor in secret" appears, and the holy Rashi interprets that this is slander, and how important it is to be careful about it.

""If thanks to this song even one person stops speaking slander, I will.".
