Many Pelephone customers, from all parts of the country, are complaining that they are unable to make and receive calls - as well as about malfunctions in Internet services.

Many users claim that this is the second glitch this week.

The company confirmed the problem and posted on its Facebook page at noon: "Dear customers, there are disruptions in receiving and making calls for some of the company's subscribers. We are working diligently to restore the service as soon as possible. We apologize for the inconvenience and thank you for your patience.".

But the announcement did not calm the angry customers.

""Thank you so much for remembering to notify me after I haven't had a line for a few hours and I didn't know why. I already thought I had a problem with the phone. Your service is simply shameful, it doesn't make sense not to inform customers about a problem," Ofer Glazer wrote in response.

Many customers also complained that they had to deal with the problem on the very day that school started: "The most stressful day of the year, today in particular. At least give us a glimpse of how the problem will be resolved. A disgrace," wrote Vered Nahmani.

Another surfer wrote: "Disgrace!!!! Some people use this as their tool, whatever happened on Thursday, but also today?? You crossed the line!""

""Twice a week?? Simply disgraceful!!! There are people whose jobs depend on their cell phones! Who will pay for all the damage?" another surfer fumed.

And Tali Cohen wrote: "This is the second time this has happened. On Thursday I was off for half a day, and now too? What will happen? We must organize a class action lawsuit! I'm fed up!""

In the evening hours, Pelephone announced that after hours of strenuous work, the source of the problem was located and there was a significant improvement in the availability of subscribers on the network.

""Throughout the day and into the night, reinforced teams will work to resolve the problem," they said. "Service is also being gradually restored to subscribers whose numbers begin with the digits 6 and 7 through a software update that is being performed to return them to normal operation.".

The company asks customers who experience disruptions to turn off and on their mobile device, as this action can expedite the restoration of service to the subscriber.

""We would like to apologize to our customers for the inconvenience caused to them during the day," announced Ran Gurion, CEO of Pelephone. "It is clear to us that an event of this type requires compensation, which we will announce later. We will continue to update the status of the treatment as we have done throughout the day.".
