Ingredients (for 4 servings):
4 salmon fillets 200-250 grams
8 Majhol dates, pitted and cut into quarters
1.5 medium onions, cut into half rings
3 stalks of green onion, cut into sticks (mainly the light parts)
About 5 cm of leek stalk, cut into half rings (from the white part)
2 cloves of garlic, halved and sliced
Silane from 100% dates
Half a glass of white wine
A teaspoon of soy sauce
Salt, black pepper, lemon juice
olive oil
Preparation method:
• Cut all relevant raw materials and set aside.
• Spread olive oil on the salmon, sprinkle with a little salt and pepper and fry on the plancha, to a medium setting.
• Then place the salmon in an oven preheated to 120 degrees for a few minutes.
• Fry the onion in a pan with a little olive oil, when it softens add the leek. When the onion and leek are golden brown, remove from heat and add garlic, stir for about a minute (not over the heat, so that the garlic does not burn).
• Return to the heat and add the wine, reduce for about two minutes, add two tablespoons of cilantro and a teaspoon of soy sauce, bring to a boil and add salt and pepper. Reduce the heat and add the dates.
• Place the salmon on a plate, top with the green onion and immediately pour the sauce over it.
• The same recipe can also be made with chicken breast.
