A neighborhood resident toldHaredim 10 Because "the wave of harassment in the neighborhood is getting worse day by day. The Arabs are attacking buildings, yards, setting the valley on fire and breaking into cars, and the police are sending another patrol car, without dealing with it in depth. Just to do their duty.""

In recent months, throwing Molotov cocktails has become an everyday occurrence. Recently, Molotov cocktails were thrown at houses bordering neighborhoods and at the large synagogue on Chayel Street. In most cases, there were no injuries, but heavy damage was caused.

Jerusalem District Police are aware of the security situation in the neighborhood and have recently increased patrols in the area. Jerusalem Mayor Nir Barkat also ordered increased security patrols, after residents complained of increasing harassment by Arabs.
