Ran Rishon, a new and fascinating voice in Israeli music, releases a new single from the album 'Time to Sow'.
After releasing the single 'Persimmons', which was received with great sympathy, and the title song 'Time to Sow', a collaboration with his friend Eviatar Banai, two songs that dealt with mental and personal processes, crises and expressions of faith amidst the difficulties of life - 'Behind the Door' represents a new facet of the album.
''Behind the Door' is a modern anthem, a quiet yet screaming glimpse through the keyhole of a society searching for its destination in the heart of a stormy sea.
The song, as on the album, features talented musicians from different worlds who contribute to its rich sound: Yagel Harosh (nai, kamancha), Aviv Bachar (kapoz, lapistil, oud, tram), Yishai Pitsion (piano), Giori Politi (percussion, drums), Yehu Yaron (bass, double bass).
Ran performs throughout the country. Among other things, he has performed at the Cinema South Festival, the Menashe Forest Festival, and at the upcoming IndyGov in a band show, opened for Riley Walker's shows in the country, and performances by Eviatar Banai, who has extended his patronage to him.
The album is released and distributed through KMA.
""Behind the door there is trouble,
Seventy years of waiting
And there is no king in Israel, only the clucking of chickens.
"Exile, stuck to the walls""
