Ahead of the High Holy Days, David Toib releases the first single-clip from the project 'My Soul Is More'.

The project will include ancient songs he grew up with, sung in the sacred courtyard of Vyzhnitz.

The current song is a special song consisting of two songs: 'Chamul' - which originated in Modzitz Chassidism and was adopted by the Rebbe Baal Ha-Ahavat Yisrael of Vizhnitz, who heard the moving and uplifting movement. To it is added an ancient passage 'Oud Yizkor', accepted since the days of Rabbi Yaakov Kapil Chassid, who was a distinguished follower of the Baal Shem Tov and the father of Baal Ha-Ahavat Shalom, the father of the Vizhnitz dynasty.

And what is behind the project?

David: "I really like many of the new songs that are released every morning in Hasidic music, both commercial and in the courtyards, but deep down inside, I feel a huge gap between those new songs and the ancient movements that I have been suckling from the dawn of my childhood. These songs uplift me every time and add more emotion and depth to them, and generally serve as a source of musical inspiration.".

""Although as a singer-songwriter I am working on an original album, apart from that I feel a strong need to express my innermost feelings, and to sing the songs from which I drew strength and awakening. In order to make them accessible to the general public, an impressive musical production and studio video were invested.".
