At approximately 1:30 AM, the IDF attacked targets in the Gaza Strip, in response to rocket fire fired in the evening hours toward southern settlements.

An IDF aircraft attacked four terrorist targets in the northern Gaza Strip and one in its center, according to an IDF spokesman. Among the targets was a rocket manufacturing plant. It was also reported: "Precise hits on the targets were identified.".

Palestinian media outlets are reporting conflicting reports regarding the condition of the injured. Hamas Radio reported three minor injuries. In contrast, a spokesman for the Gaza Health Ministry said there were no injuries at all. On the other hand, Shifa Hospital in Gaza reported several injuries, including a child and a man about 30 years old.

Earlier this evening, around 9:00 PM, a red alert was sounded in Sderot and the Sha'ar Hanegev Regional Council. Two hours later, four rockets were detected exploding in open areas. No one was injured and no damage was caused.

The assessment in the security establishment is that the shooting at Israel was carried out following the breakdown of the negotiations between Israel and the Palestinians.
