The new chicken that is causing a stir among Israeli courts: Is it permissible to eat the 'brakel' chicken, a beautiful chicken raised abroad, and what is the ruling on the poultry we eat today? In recent weeks, tens of thousands of birds of the new breed have been brought to Israel by businessmen seeking to introduce the 'brakel' chicken into the market, which are to be slaughtered in a slaughterhouse under the supervision of the 'Urdu Community', with the encouragement of the 'Community's' kashrut committee. However, as with anything involving tens of millions, at this stage the merchants encountered resistance, according to them from merchants "with interests from abroad who trade in impure species, and who are afraid that their trade will decrease." The one who supports the prohibition is the eminent Rabbi Moshe Bernsdorfer, Av Beit Din of the 'Heichal Hora' in Jerusalem, who came out against the attempt to introduce the 'brakel' chicken into the market, because the chicken has no 'tradition' that Jews ate it. "They bring it from a distant country where no Jewish foot has set foot and say that it is a pure bird without any mixture," claims the Av Beit Din of the 'Heichal Hora'. According to the Grand Rabbi Bernsdorfer, all those who prepare the bird say this only because it resembles a 'bloody' type of bird for which there is a 'tradition' of eating. According to him, even if the new bird did not indeed mix with other breeds, then just because it has no 'tradition' it is possible that it is a bird of prey - and it is impure. In response, today (Sunday) dayim from the court of the Grand Rabbi of Carlitz, led by dayims Grand Rabbi Rosenberg and Grand Rabbi Lubin, together with Grand Rabbi Klein, a distinguished student of the Grand Rabbi Wasner, zt"l, to discuss the new storm. Three slaughterers appeared before the dayanim - headed by the rabbi Shneur Zalman Tabak - who testified to the kosherness of the chicken. As a result, the dayanim are about to publish a letter certifying the chicken as 'Brakal'. After the hearing in the joint court, supporters of the new chicken today published a proclamation, under the title 'Scandal' - detailing the affair: "It is known that the late Rabbi of the HaLevi clan, Ztuk'l, convened a meeting about twenty years ago and begged several times to fix the terrible matter of the chickens being mixed with unclean birds. Then there was the question of mixing unclean species with male roosters, and the question about the females was easier. "And on this it was written from the beginning that it should not be returned and in any case it was ordered that it be fixed that it is forbidden to continue a fixed thing retrospectively - and he stopped eating. Although, given the reality that we have today, when we are clearly informed that impure birds are mixed in the nakiv, there was no reason to permit it retrospectively." According to them, "In the last three years, important rabbis and great experts have entered the matter at the request of the Grand Rabbi of the Gavad and the Bidz Shlita and at the personal request of the Rebbe of Peshchevorsk, and they have brought great leaders into the matter and invested a fortune of money and blood, literally, in order to save all of Israel from the terrible obstacle of the existing birds, which are mixed with impure birds that they gathered from all corners of the world and mixed in it.". דעת תורה, עוף About the new war, they write: "And now that the birds have already started to be sold, some interested parties from abroad have entered who are traders in impure species, and are afraid that their trade will decrease and are influencing people here in the Land of Israel who have various interests to destroy and sabotage all of this, and the main thing is that they will stay with the mixed factory chicken." "And they are not shy about this by any means. First, they are trying to qualify the mixed chicken in terms of taste. In addition to this, they are trying to slander and extort the old chicken that all the Israelites ate for generations before us until fifty years ago - before the unclean chicken was brought here, by all kinds of means. "And they are also trying to confuse and harass the rabbis and confuse them about the whole matter, all in order to qualify the unclean creeping thing, the chicken from the factories, which was regretted by Maran Rashtab"g, the father of the Levi tribe, ztzu"l, and other great men of Israel, ztzu"l and ybalchat"a." They add and write: "Interested parties added sin to sin by coming up with a false story to defame the sale of the old traditional chicken that they started selling as above and made a picture of one chicken that was not the same chicken being sold - and brought it to the slaughterers who testified that the chicken being sold was the chicken from the old merchandise, and asked them about the picture they brought: Did they testify about this chicken to be kashrut?" And they answered that they did not, and based on this conversation with them, they wrote and signed their names forgery as if the slaughterers had signed, and everything was a lie and falsehood, just as we heard from them explicitly that they did not write or sign about this, and that it was not the same as this." The distributors of the manifesto also refer to the ruling of Rabbi Bernsdorfer and write: "Therefore, the original letter they signed is now being published to testify to the tradition of the kashrut of poultry sold, and what one of the rabbis wrote to invalidate what is sold - this is according to the same falsified picture that was made. And soon in Gaza, special pamphlets will be published from the ministers of the Torah and clear, detailed rulings by our rabbis, the ministers of the Torah and the great teachers of the teaching, ztzu"l and shivlahta. They sign the manifesto: "Let it be known that all of Israel in the land and abroad are not prepared in any way to continue to fatten poultry produced in the factories of Gentiles that mix in impure poultry.". The proclamation was accompanied by a letter, "Torah opinion from the ministers of the Torah, the judges of the generation, on the purity of the sacred bird from generation to generation called 'Barkal'":   דעת תורה, עוף
