This morning (Thursday), during a routine enforcement activity by the National Traffic Police's motorcycle patrol in Betar-Illit, a driver born in 1980, a resident of the city, was stopped with his children on their way to Talmud Torah.
When the police approached the vehicle, they were surprised: five children, aged three to eight, were sitting inside the vehicle, with three of them sitting in the trunk, contrary to what is permitted, without restraints or safety measures.
The father, who drove his children at the risk of their lives, argued in his defense to the police: "At the garage they told me it was okay...""
