At the behest of the rabbis of the city of Elad, thousands of residents of the city - men, women and children - from all walks of life participated on Saturday evening in a prayer rally for the safety of the kidnapped boys. The rally was held at the central synagogue 'Mishkenot Neriah' on Pinchas Ben Yair Street, corner of Yehonatan Ben Uziel, near the home of Eyal Yifrach - one of the kidnapped, with thousands filling the nearby streets. At the end of the recitation of the Psalms, the thousands broke into singing 'Let this hour be a time of mercy'.
