Original initiative: The family of singer Israel Jarupi, brother of singer Mandy, whose daughter Chaya Hadar has been dealing with a serious illness in recent years and needs God's abundant mercy - are raising prayers and good deeds for her recovery on the holiday of Purim.

""A campaign again. Another Charidi is underway. Yes times three, no times three. With a target, without a target. One day, two days," reads the ad that my friends and family distributed in honor of the holiday.

""So maybe they'll sway you a little and they'll probably continue, but this time it's something different, this time it's in our hands!" they call, but they don't ask you for money.

So what is it?

""Recently, we have all been praying for the recovery of the girl Chaya Hadar, daughter of Nechama Dina, who is in need of abundant mercy from Heaven.

""On Purim, her 8th birthday falls. We, the family, and good friends decided to dedicate Purim to her healing. We ask you to join us by reciting a chapter of Psalms, giving charity, and making a good decision.".

""And on the contrary," they declare. "We're turning the poor into good! It's in our hands!""
