Rivlin: "This is how far philopolitics has come on this radio" • Blum: "We have said more than once that we have had wonderful freedom of expression here, even in difficult situations" • Rivlin: "You know what, father? Let's wish ourselves that it will be like this in the new hostel as well" • And what song did CEO Ariel Deri choose?

Haredi commentators Yaakov Rivlin and Avi Blum are leaving Radio Kol Barama after 6 years, and are moving on to broadcast a new duo program on Radio Kol Chai. Until now, the two presented the program "Philpolitics" on Thursday evenings on Radio Kol Barama.

The last program will be broadcast tomorrow evening. Haredim10 bids farewell to the station's CEO.

And this is how the conversation went:

Yaakov Rivlin: "So much for Philpolitics for this week, so much for Philpolitics for this month, so much for Philpolitics for this year, and so much for Philpolitics on this radio. After six years of presenting the program on Radio Kol Ramah, we decided it was time to end it, we need to refresh ourselves with challenges and in other places.".

Bloom: "We have to say thank you, a wonderful hostel, wonderful people, really, one by one, the technicians, our editor, and we would also like to say hello to Ariel Deri, the station manager and whoever accompanied us for the last three years? Right?""

Ariel: "That's right. Hello and good evening, Yaakov and Avi, yes, it's time to say hello, and also thank you very much, for the years you gave to Kol Barama, for the professionalism, for the quality of the broadcasts, we need to say thank you, and as Yaakov said, you are moving on to new places and challenges and we can wish you success. Kol Barama Radio, as you know, believes in the highest value in journalism - the value of journalistic independence - and part of this value is also that journalists can stand up and say hello.".

Bloom: "We have said more than once that we have had wonderful freedom of expression here, even in difficult situations, and this is truly an opportunity to tell you on a friendship level as well, perhaps not all listeners know, that we have been friends for many years, even before you and I entered the media field. That doesn't apply to Yaakov.".

Deri: "You know, in the general media today when they talk about involvement and influence, it's the sentence you said that I'm most proud of. About the fact that Radio Kol Barama allows for independence and complete freedom of expression, and who, like you, can attest to that?".

Rivlin: "I can say that for 6 years on the radio under different directors, under different owners, we started at nine, we were always given complete freedom of expression, even when things weren't so pleasing to the ears of the owners and other people. I don't remember once that we were forced to censor or take things down. We thank you for that, and you know what, father? Let's hope that it will be like that in the new hostel as well.".

Deri: "There is no higher value than this value, and I wish you a happy Purim and continued joyful and beneficial work for you and the public.".

Bloom: "Happy Purim. And the listeners will think it's a prank, but it's not. And now even more will think it's a prank... Our custom here is that Yaakov usually chooses the songs, but he's in the year, but this year, so come on, you choose a song for us.".

Deri: "I will choose a song that talks about the past and not the future - how good it is that we met... I didn't plan it, but it worked out.".

Bloom: "In conclusion, you are a true gentleman and we will remain friends, we will meet again.".
