Yair Sharky is another recruit for Galei Israel in recent months, as part of a major move to position a new broadcast schedule that appeals to a wider audience.
In six months, Yotam Zimri, Noam Fathi, and Elad Levy, opinion leaders on social media with tens of thousands of followers, were also recruited, with the aim of creating a combination of the FM platform and new media at the station.
Yair Sharki: "Along with my work on Channel 2 News, I am happy and excited to return to doing radio, on the distinguished stage of Radio Galei Israel. I would like to thank the owners Zvika Shalom, Yossi Saban and CEO Israel Fried for their trust, and I am sure it will be very fun and interesting."
Israel Fried, CEO of Gali Israel Radio: "I am happy that journalist Yair Sharki has joined the Gali Israel family and I have no doubt that he is the right man in the right place. Together with Yair, we will continue to deal with current issues in a professional and balanced manner and bring listeners meticulous and high-quality content. The integration of Sharki into the station is part of a move designed to thicken the content, and I promise additional surprises soon.".
