Is your wife also unwilling to iron your shirts, and you are forced to do the hated task alone? If so, and it is likely that this is the case, the following news may interest you.
LG's refrigerator-cabinet, which can freshen your clothes and remove wrinkles from them without detergents, has been launched worldwide and has also arrived in Israel, according to the geektime website.
According to the company, the Styler keeps clothes fresh and removes unpleasant odors such as cigarettes, frying or sweat. It also irons the clothes. It is ideal for clothing items such as suits, coats, sweaters, and even cloth toys, blankets and pillows.
How does it work? Hila Haimovitz, geektime's technology expert, explains: The cabinet is designed in a minimalistic way (like a narrow refrigerator) and includes several buttons on the front that offer four modes: Quick Refresh – to refresh the garment and remove wrinkles; Sanitary – to purify the garment and remove allergens. This mode is ideal for the sanitiser in you – at the push of a button, a gentle stream of steam will eliminate about 99.9 percent of the bacteria and germs that cling to items of clothing throughout the day.
Another option is Gentle Dry – drying the garment at low heat to maintain its shape; and Easy Pants Crease Care – a mode that allows you to place a pair of pants in a designated place in the closet to straighten the pants and emphasize the side crease.
And what's the price? $2,700 if you buy the cabinet in the US, and 11,900 in Israel. Expensive? Not bad if you think about the alternative.
