Tragedy in Slonim Hasidism: Mrs. Hanna Shlomowitz, wife of Rabbi David Shlomowitz, one of the most prominent Slonim Hasids in the city of Beitar Illit, passed away this morning (Wednesday) at the age of 30, after succumbing to agony and a serious illness.

Her husband serves in the holy order under Rabbi Yisrael Berzovsky, and teaches Tashbar in Har Nof.

The deceased left behind five small orphans, the oldest of whom was only 10 years old. She struggled with the disease for many years; the first time she managed to overcome it, but after a while the disease returned to attack her again - the one that had already overwhelmed her body.

Her neighbors speak of a kind, hospitable woman who brightened the face of every person. "We have no idea how we will go on without her now." They say, "It's a great loss, both for the neighborhood and for Hasidism.""

May her memory be blessed.
