The Islamic Movement established an emergency 'situation room' this evening (Thursday) and announced its willingness to assist and accommodate the families of those evacuated from the fires throughout the country and in all Arab communities. According to the movement's announcement, the reception is intended for all citizens of the country - Arabs, Christians and Jews, without distinction. "Dozens of families from the Arab population are ready to host the families affected by the fires in Haifa and the country, Jews and Arabs alike," the movement's announcement said. Dr. Mansour Abbas said: "Dozens of families from the sector have called the situation room in Kafr Qassem, and they are ready to help and host the families affected in their homes, and this is after we announced in the Arab media that we had established a situation room, to provide assistance to the residents of Haifa and the surrounding area." Abbas added that mayors from all sectors have reached out to help open their doors to residents affected by the fire - including from Kafr Qassem, Kafr Bara, Kafr Kana, Deir al-Assad, Taiba, Nazareth, Tamra and Kabul. The main situation room is in the city of Kafr Qassem. At the same time, the mayor of Beitar Illit, Meir Rubinstein, also announced this evening a special operation, in which residents of the cities and neighborhoods that are in the areas of the raging fires are invited to come and shelter in a safe place - in the homes of Beitar Illit residents. As part of the operation, the mayor invites residents of the areas close to the fires to contact the municipal emergency center, in order to arrange accommodation options in the city. The mayor also calls on city residents who are interested in hosting families in their homes to contact the municipal emergency center.
