Good news for mobile phone owners on the go: processor manufacturer Qualcomm, whose Snapdragon processors are installed in most leading smartphone models, has announced the new processor - Snapdragon 835 - which will probably be installed in most flagship devices launched in 2017.
The processor is manufactured in Samsung factories and benefits from the following benefits: an improvement of up to 27 percent in performance, along with a reduction of up to 40 percent in energy consumption.
In addition, the new processor will be smaller than the one we are familiar with, so there will be more room for the battery. Another possibility – the devices will be smaller.
One of the most notable advantages of the new processor, as hinted at in the introduction, is battery life. The 835 will be the first processor to support the new Quick Charge 4 technology. This technology allows for extremely fast charging, and five minutes of charging will be enough for no less than five hours of smartphone use.
