The largest company in the market, Philip Morris, which owns 60% of the cigarette market, announced an increase in the price of cigarette brands - and now other competing cigarette importers and manufacturers are also expected to follow Philip Morris's lead, and will also lower the price of other cigarette brands.

At the same time, Marlboro, Parliament, L&M, and Next also raised pack prices.

Philip Morris said that the increase in cigarette prices is due to an increase in production inputs.

It should be noted that in the last ten months, cigarette prices have increased for the second time. In total, a pack has gone up by two shekels - a cumulative increase of about ten percent.

Roy Gehl, Chairman and CEO of Dubek, commented on the increase in cigarette prices and announced that the Israeli tobacco brand will not raise the prices of the cigarettes it markets.

A pack of Marlboro cigarettes has increased in price from 32 shekels to 33 shekels per pack.

L&M increased in price from 29 shekels to 30 shekels.

Chesterfield has increased in price from 29 shekels to 30 shekels.

Rolling tobacco prices rose by an average of 5%:

The price of 30 grams of rolling tobacco increased from 40 shekels to 42 shekels.

30 grams of LM rolling tobacco increased in price from 37 shekels to 39 shekels.

40 grams of Next rolling tobacco increased in price from 40 shekels to 42 shekels.
