The Stock Exchange's Computing and Innovation Committee, headed by Shai Schnitzer, launched a kosher Internet browsing service for religious members who wish to surf the Internet in a protected and filtered manner.
The new Internet station has begun operating at the Israel Diamond Exchange, in the Internet station area, and allows for safe and secure browsing on sites that have been scanned in advance. The service is based on smart filtering technology.
President of the Israel Diamond Exchange, Yoram Davash: "The launch of Internet services for religious members is part of the management's effort to provide quality service to all members from all sectors.".
Chairman of the Computing and Innovation Committee, Shai Schnitzer, said: "Alongside the valuable information presented on the Internet, there is also inappropriate content that may hurt the feelings of the religious public. The new service will now allow God-fearing members to surf the Internet safely, without fear and without being exposed to unwanted content.".
The kosher internet station is located in the raw hall in the internet station area, and is available for use by anyone who requests it.
This is the most advanced protection service available for the Haredi. The service is closely supervised by rabbinical committees who have appointed kashrut supervisors. Each site is carefully inspected and every effort is made to provide a reliable, clean, and efficient service over time.
