In honor of Shavuot: A recipe for a winning cheesecake

26 cm diameter pan

150 g biscuits

2 tablespoons sugar

100 g melted butter

1/4 teaspoon cinnamon

For the filling:

750 g white cheese

4 eggs

1/3 cup cornstarch

200 g condensed milk

1/2 cup sugar

1 teaspoon vanilla paste

How to prepare:

  1. Crush the biscuits, sugar, and cinnamon in a food processor until powdery.
  2. Transfer to a bowl and mix with the melted butter.
  3. Clamp the base to a baking pan No. 26 and place in the freezer for 15 minutes.
  4. Mix all the filling ingredients and pour over the base.
  5. Bake for about 60 minutes at 1500 degrees until the center of the cake hardens.
  6. Cool and sprinkle with powdered sugar for decoration.
