Journalist Erel Segal sharply attacked his former colleague Nathan Zehavi this morning (Sunday) on his program "Don't Open Your Mouth" on the radio station "Gale Israel".
Zehavi wrote on his Facebook page on Saturday: "I would give him three for one. He would take Sharon Gal, Yinon Magal, and Oren Hazan and leave us Yossi for a few more years.".
Segal and Zehavi have broadcast together on the radio in the past, and according to Segal, "Zehavi complains about Magal's language, but when I worked with him I heard how he talks about women and there is no comparison.".
Segal continued to say that in his opinion, there was no media storm surrounding Zehavi's remarks because he is identified with the leftist camp.
Segal: "Natan Zehavi is allowed to say something like that. He is allowed to say, 'Take these three young men, kill them and let Sarid live a few more years in their place.' Imagine what would happen if someone from the right said something similar? The hatred of the leftists is supposedly a witty hatred, with humor, not the messianic hatred of the right. So it is allowed, it is okay.".
Segal continued by saying that in all his twenty years in the media, he noticed that "while there are animals and idiots on the right who post unnecessary posts, they don't have the evil and hatred that there is on the left. They say the worst things there, but they say them beautifully - so it's allowed.".
Segal concluded his remarks by saying: "Natan Zehavi is a mature, adult man with no children, so he sits on the radio and screams and goes wild.".
