Hazan and Shafir are in the headlines again, and again in unsympathetic verbal contexts: During the Knesset Finance Committee's discussions on approving the state budget ahead of second and third readings, a loud confrontation broke out between MK Oren Hazan of the Likud and MK Stav Shafir of the Zionist Camp.
During Shaffir's remarks, Hazan said: "The opposition is putting on a show for the media" - and shouted at the MK: "You are a little girl, you are screaming like a chicken.".
Shaffir did not remain indifferent and replied to him, briefly: "Shut your mouth.".
In the role of kindergarten teacher, Moshe Gafni was forced to serve as the committee chairman, who told the cantor: "Oren, it's not nice like that, apologize to her.".
Shafir turned to the kindergarten teacher, meaning Gafni, and demanded that he "remove him from the committee.".
Gafni replied to her: "I can't. It's about votes.".
Hazan himself remained in the Finance Committee room and refused to apologize.
