Meir Pawlovsky, a resident of justice who was seriously injured in an attack near the Hazon David synagogue in Kiryat Arba about three weeks ago, got engaged this evening (Wednesday) in Mazel Tov.
Meir got engaged to Katya, an immigrant from Ukraine. The two knew each other before the attack and planned to get engaged, but the attack disrupted their plans.
The young couple's "cheerleading" took place tonight at the home of "Mishpacha" journalist Aharon Granot, Meir's adoptive father, in Kiryat Arba.
Aharon Granot wrote this evening on his Facebook page:
""She said yes to him!!! Two and a half weeks after miraculously surviving the attack and returning to life, our Meir Pavlovsky proposed to Katya.".
""After the screening of the light-sound vision in the 'Touching Eternity' show at the Hebron History Museum, the subtitle 'Marry me' appeared at the end.".
""Where he almost ended his life, he began a new life today.".
Pavlovsky was stabbed in the stomach and shoulder and was taken to the hospital in serious condition. However, he miraculously recovered very quickly and was released home a few days later.
On the day of his release, he appeared at the scene of the attack and blessed: "Blessed is he who performed a miracle for me in this place.".
