He knows how to get likes: The Ynet website published a headline about Netanyahu's visit to the Gaza Strip today, with the news item accompanied by a photo taken by a Yedioth Ahronoth photographer, showing the Prime Minister looking through binoculars with the lenses covered, and below it the mocking headline: "Netanyahu was photographed today in the style of Amir Peretz.""

By doing so, they intended to mention on the website of Yedioth Ahronoth, which is in a long-standing dispute with the prime minister, the incident in which Peretz was photographed as defense minister in a similar situation in Lebanon, and was met with ridicule.

But Netanyahu's response was not long in coming, and managed to garner tens of thousands of likes in a short time.

The Prime Minister posted a photo of himself as a young warrior on his Facebook page, holding binoculars.

Beneath the photo, Netanyahu wrote: "I want to reassure Ynet and Yedioth: I have some experience with binoculars.".

Bibi's status received 36,000 likes and more than 2,000 shares within an hour.
