More joy in the Shas chairman's family: Economy Minister Aryeh Deri arrived this morning (Tuesday) with his wife Yaffe and his extended family, to the Western Wall to participate in the 'tefillin-laying' ceremony for his eldest grandson, the son of his daughter Simcha Avitan - who will soon celebrate his Bar Mitzvah.

The Shas chairman chose to take advantage of the event to convey a message of security to the citizens of Israel, displaying a picture of the family against the backdrop of the Western Wall - and writing on his Facebook page:

I personally checked: The Western Wall is a safe place, the level of security is exceptional. Jews should not fear under any circumstances coming to pray at the Western Wall. Congratulations!"
