Radio personality Yossi Gil celebrates his 39th birthday, and the best artists of Hasidic music sent recorded greetings, which will be incorporated for the first time into a musical work that will be recorded soon.

Yossi Gil, known to the public primarily for his vast knowledge of Hasidic music and his unique presentation, began his career about 18 years ago on the pirate radio station 'Kol Simcha'. Since then, he has edited and presented thousands of programs and hosted hundreds of artists on the radio stations: Channel 7 and Kol Hai.

Gil currently serves as a musical director, editor, and presenter at Kol Barama Radio.

Gil enjoys a close network of connections with senior figures in the Hasidic genre, including singers, composers, and arrangers, and many of them consult him on every step they take.

Yossi Gil's knowledge was previously attested to by the editor Mona Rosenblum when he said: "When I want to know something about myself, what I did on a certain date, I first check with Yossi...""

The original gift was initiated and produced by public relations professional Israel Berger of Berger Media, with the help of Ze'evi Fried and Avi Blumenthal. The work will be arranged by musicians Eli Klein and Itzi Berry.
