After a two-year hiatus: This evening (Wednesday), Health Minister Yaakov Litzman and Yisrael Beitenu Chairman MK Avigdor Lieberman met for a conversation in the Knesset cafeteria - after a prolonged dispute over the mass elections and the race for mayor of Jerusalem.

In the past, there was a friendship between the two, who even coordinated joint political moves, but since the Jerusalem mayoral elections, there has been a complete disconnect between them.

The reason: Lieberman claimed that Litzman broke an explicit promise he had made to him - to support the candidacy of Moshe Leon, whom Lieberman, along with Degel Hatorah activists, ran for mayor.

In recent months, various parties have tried to reconcile the two, but without success.

During the conversation, people close to the two say, things were smooth between them.

And who deserves a 'Nobel Peace Prize' for this move? MK Orly Levy.

It should be noted that last week, Moshe Leon, the representative of the chairman of Yisrael Beiteinu, joined Nir Barkat's list - which was supported by Gur Hasidim - after a reconciliation was held between the parties.
