Last week, the accounting firm BDO-Ziv Haft, in collaboration with Mercantile Bank, held a conference at the Concord Halls in Bnei Brak for directors of educational associations.

The conference featured lectures from senior accountants from the nonprofit and education sectors.

CPA Yoel Toledano - partner and head of the Haredi sector at the accounting firm BDO - lectured on the third sector in Israel. During the lecture, he presented data showing that more than the state contributes to NGOs, NGOs contribute to and support the state.

CPA Ron Fishman, an expert in providing advice to owners on education and welfare issues and in salary audits in budgeted bodies, then gave a lecture. CPA Ron lectured on maximizing education budgets and on salary audits in non-official recognized institutions (MOKSHAR).

Afterwards, Shmulik Silman from Mercantile Bank spoke about the various options for financing nonprofits.

Among the participants was an impressive representation of a variety of Kosher institutions; special education, kindergartens, elementary and secondary schools who expressed their satisfaction with the seminar, which contributed greatly to them.
