Singer Moti Monk continues to surprise the Hasidic-Yeshiva music world and launches a new single that is full of longing for the stand in the Beit Midrash.
About a year ago, Moti released his debut single: La Tira - a rhythmic hit, which was a success and was even played on general radio stations.
In addition to his studies at the yeshiva, he performs as a singer at weddings and various events, and also coaches and conducts five children's bands in various neighborhoods in Jerusalem.
Sitting next to the memory of Moshe – the new single that sees the light of day in honor of the summer days of the intervening times, captures the deep longing for the good and perfect times in the lap of the Gemara, the times when the mind was solely focused on study, without any distractions or external motivations, and suddenly it all disappeared a little.
""The song speaks to me and to everyone on a personal level, but it is not a song of despair, that same emotion and longing leads to the next practical line: 'We don't think twice, here is a gemara on the stand and we return to order,'" says Motti.
The production intends to release a music video in the coming weeks, which will be produced and edited by photographer Asher Widberg.
Moti's goal is to release only individual songs as singles and not as an album, since with a single, all the power and energy is invested in one song, which is released in a more invested way, without compromise.
