Good news: Benjamin Donner, 54, a Breslov Hasidic resident of Yavne'el, who was bitten about a week ago by a viper at the Salukia spring in the Golan Heights, was released yesterday from Ziv Hospital in Safed to his home.

Donner was walking in a stream with his family when he picked up a branch that was interfering with their walking and was bitten by a snake. His hand swelled, and he began to vomit and sweat, which indicated a venomous snakebite. An MDA ambulance evacuated him from the scene, but on their way to the hospital, the ambulance's engine broke down, and Donner and the rescue workers had to wait on the side of the road for another ambulance. In the meantime, his condition deteriorated, and he was evacuated in an intensive care unit with his condition classified as serious.

Many prayed for Binyamin Ben Ilana. Moharosh Sheik called from his home in the United States to bless and strengthen the family, and even sent his son, Rabbi Moshe Sheik, to stay by his side in the hospital.

The very next day after the incident, he was transferred to a regular ward and his condition improved. Betzu told Haredim10 at the time: "The family was on a trip when Dad picked up a branch from the floor and was bitten by a large snake. His condition has stabilized and, thank God, he is speaking. The doctors say that in the coming days he will be out of danger. Dad studies in the kollel in Yavne'el for a full day, the avrechim have been informed and are praying for his well-being.".

Yesterday he was released from the hospital feeling well.

This morning (Monday), he surprised his friends when he appeared as usual at the youth kollel where he studies.
