The joy of the house of Belza: Thousands participated in the Kiddusha Rava on Shabbat held at the Belza Hasidic Center in Jerusalem, on the occasion of the birth of the Rebbe's first great-granddaughter.

The daughter was born last week in Mazel Tov at the 'Me'eni Hayeshua' hospital in Bnei Brak to Rabbi Shalom Rokach, the eldest son of the Rebbe's only son - Rabbi Aharon Mordechai Rokach.

In Kiryat Belza, the granddaughter's grandfather, the Gabba of Akva, Rabbi Shimon Lemberger of Kiryat Ata, was also present on Shabbat to celebrate the joy, as was the father-in-law of the daughter's father - the Gibbon Pant, the rector of Yeshiva Nadburna in Bnei Brak.

And her name was called in Israel: Rivkah Hana, after the mother of the first Rebbe in the Belza dynasty - Shalom Ziya, after whom the baby's father was named.

During a condolence meeting for the bereaved by the Rebbe of Belza with the rabbis of the Abu Hatzira family, the Rebbe Rabbi David said about the birth of the Rebbe's first great-granddaughter: "This is the joy of all of Israel, not a private joy.".
