New appointment in Minister Deri's office: Media Advisor Barak Sari

העתירות שהוגשו לבג"צ מטעם התנועה למעון איכות השלטון נגד מינויו של ח"כ אריה דרעי, לתפקידי שר הכלכלה ופיתוח הנגב והגליל - לא מפריע ליו"ר ש"ס להתחיל לעבוד במרץ. הבוקר הודיעה לשכת דרעי על מינויו של ברק סרי לתפקיד היועץ לענייני תקשורת במשרדים. Sari was appointed to replace spokesman Yaakov Bezalel, who was promoted last week to the position of head of Deri's bureau. It is not yet clear whether Sari will be replaced by a spokesperson who will work with the ultra-Orthodox media.  Sari worked for 20 years as an editor in the Schocken network of Haaretz newspaper and was editor of the Israeli newspaper. He previously served as the media advisor to the Minister of Public Security Avi Dichter, as the media advisor to the Minister of Transportation Israel Katz, worked for 4 years as the media advisor to the Minister of Defense Ehud Barak, and in the last term he served as the advisor to the Minister of National Infrastructures, Energy and Water, Silvan Shalom.
